CB2 DelMarVa Bold Trip 2021
Join us for a trip around the DelMarVa peninsula. Below is an overview of the itinerary. Those who are interested in joining the trip should register through the CB2 website. A phone or zoom conference will be held with all registrants prior to the event to address questions and finalize details. Departure times may be adjusted as needed.
Day 1 (June 10, 2021)
Depart Annapolis 7:00 a.m. from the vicinity of Annapolis Landing Marina to arrive Summit North Marina (C&D Canal) before nightfall.
Distance: 58 nm (about 9.5 hours at 6 knots). Option for boats moored north of Annapolis to meet up with the rally at Summit North Marina.

Day 2 (June 11, 2021)
Briefing at 6:00 a.m. Depart Summit North Marina by 7:00 a.m. to arrive Cape May before nightfall (marina to be determined or option to anchor).
Distance: 61 nm (10 hrs) if using the Cape May Canal West entrance (Note there is a 55’ fixed bridge for this route). If arriving via the Cape May inlet from the Atlantic side, the distance is another 10-15 nm).
Overnight at Cape May (Marina to be determined)
Day 3-4 (June 12-13, 2021) Overnight offshore run from Cape May to Cape Charles
Briefing at 7:00 a.m. Depart Cape May at 8:00 a.m. and sail overnight offshore to arrive Cape Charles, VA (just inside the Chesapeake Bay on the Eastern Shore) in the afternoon. Marina to be determined.

Day 5 (June 14, 2021)
Depart Cape Charles late morning and sail to Mill Creek off Cockrell Creek (near Reedville)
Distance: 50 nm (8 hours)
Overnight at Mill Creek (anchorage)
Day 6 (June 15, 2021)
Depart Mill Creek to sail to Solomons (marina or mooring ball overnight)
Distance: 47 nm (8 hours)
Day 7 (June 16, 2021)
Depart Solomons in the a.m. to sail to Herrington Harbour North (HHN)
Distance: 40 nm) (option to overnight at HHN or continue to points north.
Optional Day 8 (June 17, 2021) Depart HHN to Annapolis (22 nm)
