Anchors aweigh!
I hope everyone has their boat ready for the upcoming season, or at least very close to splashing, like me!
The spring meeting saw forty-two members discussing the upcoming season with anticipation and commiserating over the difficulties of the past year. Pirates Cove provided a great setting and an exceptional lunch. I personally enjoyed catching up with old friends and welcoming many new members. During the meeting, the new executive committee was introduced, the upcoming season was discussed, and there was a presentation on the 2021 BOLD DelMarVa Loop sail.
CB2’s next event is an informal ‘Happy Hour’ Saturday 8 May at Herrington Harbour North, Tracey’s Landing, MD. We will start to gather at 1600 and please register on the CB2 homepage to give everyone an idea of who to look for.
The first fleet anchorage event is also just around the corner. Please come enjoy a weekend on Shaw Bay (38 51.25N 76 11W) 22-23 May; where we will welcome new members for their first CB2 afloat event. The theme will be ‘Under the Sea’ with more details to follow.
